One of the most asked questions that I hear is:
When should I go to Disney World?
And it’s a great question. It can make a big difference in what you are able to do each day. It can mean that you’re standing in line FOREVER in the HOT FLORIDA SUN, feeling like you’re dying vs. cruising around in shorts smugly looking at your friend’s Facebook photos of snow.
School is a big factor.
It’s a trade off: go when school is out and bake in the sun with the crowds or PULL your kids out of school for a family vacation?
If you go when school is out, you will pay more and deal with bigger crowds. I am absolutely an advocate of education. I really am. School is important. Stay in school. Drink your milk. Brush your teeth. Just say no. Except.
Definitely take your children out of school to go to Disney World!
I’m not saying I won’t book your trip if you’re going in the heat of the summer, but I am saying I only want what’s best for you, my friend, and I’m begging you, don’t go in the summer. If you must go when the kids are out of school, at least hit the very first week they are out or the very last week before they go back.
A little more about me, you know, so you know you can trust me. I hope this doesn’t come out braggy, because I don’t mean it like that. 🙂 I’ve been to Disney many many many many times. With four kids, with a newborn, with big kids. With my whole family, with my nieces and nephews. By myself with a tiny baby. With strangers from the internet. I know Disney.
Picture how well you know your job- you go there every day, you know where to find everything. You know how the door sounds when it opens and you know where to hide from your boss for two seconds. That’s how Disney is for me. I’ve spent more than one hundred days at Disney in the last two years. I can and will steer you right!
So trust me when I say, that the right time can make a big difference. And I’d love to help you find the perfect time. Reach out to me with any specific situations you have and I can advise.
