February in Florida
I know there are a lot of questions about what to pack for Disney, especially in the winter months where the weather can be unpredictable. February in Florida is beautiful usually, but it can be cold sometimes.
I’m pretty great at packing light these days. I HATE paying for bags. I fly Frontier which is super cheap, but they charge quite a lot for bags (around $50 round trip). You do get to bring a personal item for free so, I just pack in my personal item. If the whole family is coming, I’ll probably check one bag. But if it’s just me and Cyrus or one or two of the other kids, I pack light and don’t pay extra.
I’ve completely drank the LuLaRoe kool-aid so most of my outfits are LuLaRoe. And if you don’t know what that is, you need to crawl out from under your rock! It’s only the most comfortable clothing to ever exist in the world!
And it’s pretty versatile, which is great because February in Florida can be freezing or roasting!
So here’s what clothing I’m bringing for our 6 day/5 night trip- February 12-17, 2017
5 LuLaRoe Leggings- Wait until you see the cute outfits I have! Piggy Banks that look like Hamm for our Hollywood Studio day, not one, but TWO pair of castle leggings for Magic Kingdom (I may need a costume change in the middle of the day just so I can wear all my outfits!), Minnie polka dots, Scuba masks for Epcot (Finding Nemo!) airplanes for the airplane (duh.) I won’t lie, it got out of hand rather quickly. They have too many adorable comfortable clothes.
2 Julia (LuLaRoe) Dresses- I’ll wear these as tops with leggings if it’s cold, or by themselves if it’s hot. I’ll probably even star with leggings underneath and then take them off as it gets hot and then put them back on if it gets cold again in the evening.
2 Long Sleeves- 1 chambray Mickey shirt that looks awesome with my Minnie polka dots and my castles, and 1 cashmere hoodie. And I only mention it’s cashmere, not to make you think I’m loaded (y’all know too much to think that…) but to say, if you don’t have a cashmere hoodie, you are missing out on one of the truly good things in life. It is super warm when it’s cold and super light when it’s hot. And it’s thin and easy to pack. And so soft. Not going to lie, they are an investment, but they last forever and are worth it!
4 Short Sleeves- a couple Irmas (LuLaRoe) a couple tee shirts, nothing too crazy.
2 Bras, 8 Underwear, 3 Socks Is that too much information? Oh well. I wear bras and underwear. Now you know. Secret is out. And two pairs of my socks are toeless. Because flip flops. I’m starting a trend. So far, I’m the only one doing it, but I have hope. Here’s my faves.
1 Pair of Jean Shorts
Pajama shorts and top that could both be worn in public in a pinch.
That’s it. And to be honest it’s waaaaay more than normal because I wanted to pack all my cute LuLaRoe stuff. I normally pack even less.
I used to pack what I thought I’d need and then put away half to help me stay under control. Then when I still brought home clean clothes, I’d pack only a third of what I originally thought. That’s a pretty good balance for me. I know I can wash clothes if I have to, but I rarely need to.
A note on LuLaRoe: I want to do an inspiration post with LuLaRoe at Disney, so if you’re doing LuLaRoe at Disney, send me a picture and I’ll include you!
